Becoming an Interdisciplinary
I am currently an Interdisciplinary Studies major with a focus on sports coaching and health. I am passionate about fitness, personal development, and helping others reach their full potential both physically and mentally.
Interdisciplinary Studies is a program that allows students to combine multiple areas of study to create a personalized academic path. My emphasis in sports coaching and health reflects my commitment to understanding both the physical and strategic aspects of athletics, as well as how to support overall well-being.
I chose these areas of emphasis because I have always had a strong interest in sports, fitness, and leadership. I enjoy working with others, encouraging growth, and being part of a team environment. I believe that coaching is not just about improving performance, but also about building confidence, discipline, and character.
My career goal is to become a personal trainer or coach where I can inspire and support the next generation of athletes. I want to help young individuals develop their skills, stay motivated, and believe in themselves both on and off the field. Family is very important to me, and that value shapes how I approach leadership—by supporting others, building strong relationships, and always striving to be the best version of myself.
Through my education and experiences, I hope to make a positive impact by guiding others toward success, health, and personal growth.
